Late-Stage Capitalism Sucks

People who don't know me personally, especially those who haven't worked with me, will take one look at the anti-AI posts and anti-work memes that I've been sharing here on Facebook, on Instagram, and even on LinkedIn (LOL) and immediately label me as shifty and unreliable (work wise).

It's funny because I have former bosses here on Facebook, those who have a sense of humor of course, who just laugh at those posts. I have a strong work ethic, as both those who've managed me and those who've worked with me can attest, and I'm easy to get along with; but what I mainly have a problem with are those greedy capitalists, period. When you think about it, this should be EVERYONE's problem too. You can disagree with me all you want, but I do believe that we're living in an era of late-stage capitalism: wealth is increasingly becoming concentrated in the hands of a few billionaires and mega corporations, and basic commodities are becoming more expensive and therefore less accessible to regular people, which has naturally led to a growing discontent and frustration among the public. There's a widespread feeling of unease and mistrust of economic rules (that, supposedly -- according to Boomers -- USED TO WORK many years ago), and it's about time, really. Pull yourself up by your fucking bootstraps? The fuck does that actually mean anyway?

It's easy to write a fucking "thought leadership" piece on LinkedIn nowadays and act like a big fancy "expert," what with all the AI tools available at anyone's disposal, so you can "build your personal brand" and attract more clients or, at the very least, be visible enough for a headhunter of a Fortune 500 company to take notice. (Well, if that's your MO, and I highly suspect it is. We're talking about a job site/app after all. So fair enough, although I've heard that more and more people have been using LinkedIn as a dating site, LOL.) Problem is, LinkedIn has become a cult where everyone has been drinking each other's Kool-Aid (it was actually grape-flavored Flavor Aid laced with cyanide, by the way, in case you wanted to know).

OK, scratch that, let's use a better metaphor: LinkedIn has become a cult where everyone has been sucking each other's dicks, but not before they've removed their lower ribs first so they could perform autofellatio.

OK, scratch something again: on second thought, it's not the easiest thing in the world to write a fucking thought leadership piece on LinkedIn, even if you've asked any of those LLMs to spit one out for you. When you think about it, it's actually easier to tell the truth -- either through anti-AI posts or anti-work memes, or both.
